Masomo Academy — Online learning platform for holiday education

Overview

Built a web-based learning platform designed to help students continue their education during school holidays, while enabling teachers to independently run and monetize their classes.

Masomo Academy bridges the gap between students and accessible education by providing a flexible, home-based learning environment with structured coursework, progress tracking, and teacher-led instruction.

The Problem

In many cases, learning effectively stops during school holidays:

Students lack structured academic engagement outside school terms
Teachers have limited tools to continue teaching or monetize their expertise independently
Existing platforms are either too generic or not tailored to local learning dynamics
Progress tracking and feedback loops outside school are weak or nonexistent

This creates a gap in continuity, especially for exam preparation and concept reinforcement.

My Role

Sole engineer responsible for:

End-to-end system design and development
Building the learning platform (student + teacher workflows)
Designing content delivery, assignment, and grading systems
Structuring the product to support both free and paid educational resources
Translating educational workflows into a usable digital experience
